Live Laugh Love in Pink #Mondayblogs

Look what just arrived:

On one side the extremely pink band reads: Live Laugh Love.

On the other it reads: http://www.jo-anncarson.com. It was hard to come up with a tag-line for my light fantasy books. “Live, laugh, love,”may be cliche but it nails my on-going theme.

Who would want a pink band?

That’s a good question. I’m hoping superheroes of all shapes and sizes will, as I’ll be handing them out at the upcoming Capitol City Comic Con in Victoria, B.C., Canada (March16-18).

Victoria, btw, is the capitol of our province and one of the most beautiful cities in our country. The conference is being held in The Fairmont Empress, the luxury hotel where all the royalty stay.

I just may have an excuse to go for high tea.

Here’s a picture of it. As you can see it’s situated in the inner-harbor.

J.C. McKenzie (aka, my well published in dark fantasy, daughter) and I have a booth. We call ourselves VIPA which stands for Vancouver Island Paranormal Authors. We’ll have print books available and are looking forward to talking to people about our stories. If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you.

JC will be handing out black bands, which read: “Release the Beast.”

It’s going to be a lot of fun.

I’m gathering other treasures for the day as well, and I’ll show you them another day. And as you can see in the top right hand corner, I’ve started a countdown.

This was my weekly photo, of my Saturday morning write at The Buzz. My wip is coming along nicely.

I wish you all a great week. I won’t sign off with, “Live, love and laugh,” because that is waaaaay too “done.” How about hugs and a wink.

  1. I love your tag-line ‘Live, laugh , love’ – and the fact that it’s hot pink. That’s a nice contrast to J.C.’s. The Comic Con Victoria should be so much fun especially sharing it with your daughter. And you absolutely must ‘take tea’ at the Empress while you’re there.
