Ancient Danger Blog Tour – Day 5 #free #suspense

Ancient Danger

A Five Star Review from Cynthia  (Goodreads)

In the third installment we are once again caught in the double world of Sadie Stewart, fashion model/CIA agent along with her blond viking protector, Sebastian Wilde.

Sadie and Sebastian are attending a costume ball in Venice when a party goer attacks Sadie. Unfortunately, he takes the easy way out when captured, “cyanide” and they are unable to question him on the who and why he was after Sadie. “We are watching you…..” words said with his last breath. Who is we?

Of course, her old friends at the CIA will help, but they will want something in return. The CIA wants Sadie to stop Bakari al-Sharif from completing his plans to steal King Tutankhamen’s scarab. But knowing the CIA, is this all they want from Sadie? And why does Bakari need the scarab?

Sadie is also contemplating where her life and relationship with Sebastian is headed. When together everything “rocks”, but their lives keep pulling them apart. Her modeling/CIA takes her all over the world and Sebastian spends his time in Europe with his art business. Maybe it is time to call it quits with her life as a spook or give up Sebastian. Can a spook ever call it quits? Can Sadie and Sebastian find a solution?

A page turner from the beginning. Highly recommend this installment, plus Books 1 & 2 of the series. You will not be disappointed with the characters, suspense, and romance. A winner for Jo-Ann Carson.

Was presented an ARC from Book Partners In Crime Promotions and author for an honest review.

      1. Ahhh, lucky you. It’s been cloudy for most of the day and then we got hit with storms this afternoon. I was writing a book review on Goodread and then suddenly lost power. 😦 I hope your day was fun and you met some interesting people.

      2. Hi Mrs. N
Sorry about your power. I hate getting interrupted like that. Hope all is well now.
The day was long and exhausting, but I did meet lots of people and that was my goal. I need to mull over whether I want to do it again.
We’re starting our first heat wave out here on the coast. I hope you are having good weather.
Thanks for stopping by and chatting.
        Best Wishes
