Odds and Ends for Today

The Uffizi Gallery was magnificent, every bit as spectacular as I had imagined.

But, it’s hard to write about. Maybe after a day I’ll be able to, but right now, I’m overwhelmed by the art, history, and the emotion of looking at paintings and sculptures that changed the world.

So, here are some pictures about this and that.

I have no idea why my words are pink. I have given up guessing about anything cyberish.

First let me take you to my apartment:

Our tiled floor.

Chalk/pastel artist working on the street.

A replica of David.

Dinner tonight will be take-out pizza and wine. It’s raining. Another great day in Florence.
