3 Reasons I Relish Revisions

ONE: It’s Character Building

You know the saying, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

TWO: The Writing Improves

THREE: It’s Better than Cleaning Toilets

Enough said.

  1. I’m not alone then! Whew! I actually LOVE revisions. If that makes me sick in the head, so be it. But to me, revisions are when the writing becomes suffused with life – all those wonderful details I didn’t get to in the original setting-down of the story. I’m also a bit of a perfectionist, so I get to polish, polish, polish. The problem is knowing when to stop polishing, right? 🙂
